Business Sweden was founded on the first of January, 2013, by a merger of the Swedish Trade Council (Exportrådet) and Invest Sweden. Business Sweden is commissioned by the Government to support Swedish companies to strengthen business contacts with foreign enterprises, helps Swedish companies to identify international business opportunities and to enable them to enter the international market smoothly with competence and resources of Business Sweden.
Business Sweden has a strong presence in 57 countries worldwide. The dual ownership between the Swedish government and industry provides access to contacts and networks at all levels throughout the world.
For Swedish companies, we provide strategic advice, sales execution and operational support to help them grow their international revenues. Business-to-Government strategy is also our specialization. Swedish companies can trust us to shorten time to market, find new revenue streams, and lower risks.
