Sweco’s experience in energy, environment and transportation enables great results in city planning and architecture design. Some representative projects are Tangshan Bay Eco City (planning and design), Tianjin Dongli Lake Vanke (planning and urban design), Yinchuan Eco City (planning and urban design), Shanghai Baoshan business park (architecture design) etc..
The Swedish “SymbioCity” concept and solutions have been the foundation of our work. Whatever project, the focus is on creating ideal environments for people to live, work and thrive in the cities of tomorrow. Apart from the core team of architect, planner and landscape planner, multidisciplinary groups composed of Sweco experts in different fields will also participate in the project to lay a good foundation for the future development of the project. Through our work process, we also absolve the opinions and information of our customers, local government departments and experts through a series of workshops and integrate them into our design.
In the Yantai Eco City project, Sweco plans and designs the first phase housing area and 43 ha Masterplan as the lead designer.
