VELUX entered the Chinese market in 1988. For years, VELUX China has established strategic partnerships with many renowned real estate developers and architect institutes, i.e. VANKE, Green Town, Sino-Ocean, Beijing Victory Star Architectural & Civil Engineering Design CO., LTD., Central-South Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. etc.
In addition, VELUX China is designated as the office of the Active House Academic Committee under the Architectural Society of China. Meanwhile, it is the science education base for the Architectural Society of China and education and training base for the School of Architecture of Tsinghua university.
The VELUX Group is owned by VKR Holding A/S, a limited company wholly owned by non-profit, charitable foundations (THE VELUX FOUNDATIONS) and family.
